What's a "half birthday," you ask?
One could say that it is a tradition in the Bicoy household. Exactly six months after the birth of each of our children, my lovely wife Cari baked a cake and had us sing "happy half birthday."
She would even serve only half a cake!
On an aside, it does make one wonder, what did happen to the other halves of all those cakes?
Anyway, since we are sick and tired of having kids, uh, I mean, since we are so happy with the children we have, there will be no more half birthday parties in our home.
So we went to visit Aunty Kathy instead.
Yes, today is Cari's sister's son Tyler's half birthday!
And our kids gathered in their Aunty Kathy's kitchen to sing a hapy half birthday to Tyler.
Tyler, however, just wanted to grab Bretty's hat...
Clearly, Tyler is going to be a Cowboys fan like his father Paul and just had to grab (and spit up on) his cousin Bretty's Atlanta Falcons cap.
Our kids had fun playing with Tyler's toys...
But after a while they got tired of playing with Tyler's toys and just started playing with Tyler.
They dressed up the poor boy...
Oh my, this child will always have six older Bicoy cousins to torment him!
Happy half birthday, Tyler!
