The Effects of a Las Vegas Night...

My cousin Brenda (who visited Las Vegas not too long ago and is pictured in a previous entry on this blog) was kind enough to send us these wonderful bracelets and necklaces that she makes in her home in Haleiwa, Hawaii.

Here's a great picture of the kids. Look at the necks of the boys (usually when I'm talking about my boys' necks it involves wringing) and the wrists of the girls...

Of course, they were all so excited that their usual hyper selves were even more so this afternoon.

It should also be noted that my lovely wife's little sister Chrissy and her husband Brandon are visiting Las Vegas and staying on the famous "Strip" -- well, you can imagine that they had more than a few late nights over the last few days.

Combine over-excited children and tired in-laws, and well, here is what you get...

Ah, well, they did work up enough energy to play outside with the kids for a while...

Actually, note that there are no kids in that picture.

Mostly we think that maybe they were both still a bit tipsy and that explains their great desire to play on the kid's skateboard.

My wife did manage to sober them up eventually and here she is with her baby sister...

This picture really has nothing to do with anything, but I love that our number 4 (Kekoa) and number 6 (Malia) enjoy playing with each other. He is coloring with sidewalk chalk and she just adores him and follows him around...

She even decided to join in the coloring...

And finally, here's a picture for no apparent reason...

Isn't she just lovely?
